iPhone

1.1.4 is out and there doesn’t seem to be anything major - final prep work before the SDK lands I imagine. Safari now seems to have support for plugins (things are slowly falling into place for Flash). Oh and for the first time in ages the jailbreak method used has not been patched by Apple - so ZiPhone will continue to work just fine.

    Hi Jason,
Hopefully you can help me. I have an iPhone(1.14) running
perfectly on Vodafone here in Ireland. One small niggle is that
it doesn’t recognise phone numbers from my contact list? i.e.
When I get a call from an Irish number only the number comes
up rather than the contact name?? International incoming calls
work fine and the contact name shows up - just not Irish contacts?
    Any ideas/help please?

Many thanks for your help and time here,
    KJQ

Problem solved - I found Appsupport 1.14 and it solved the issue! Thanks KJQ.
